General Meeting

The Board is still waiting to receive a financial statement from the April Directors Cup from Roy Shields.
Laureen has received the ice schedule from the city.
Mike made a motion that PMHA purchase his goalie equipment from Clayton Kirton for a sum of $500.00. Seconded by Cindy

Lynn has received 35 ¼ page ads, 8 ½ page ads, and 3 full page ads for a total of $7000.00 in monies so far.
Lynn has spoken with Keystone in regards to hockey sticks for PMHA tournaments and they are interested.
The board received a letter from Scotia bank in regards to a sponsorship. See attached letter. Lynn will contact Scotia bank.

These teams will be entered onto the following tournaments:
Kenora Nov. 28, 29, & 30, 2008
Dauphin Jan. 16, 17, & 18, 2009
Rotary Cup Tournament
The entrance fee will be $550.00.
Coaching Cert.
The Bantam “AA” team playing in the Winnipeg League must have the intermediate coaching level.
Last season a PMHA coach enrolled in a coaching course and was charge the registration fee. Brian made a motion to reimburse this coach for the registration fee. Seconded by Mike.

The PMHA Board has accepted the following for the 2008-2009 coaching position:
Squirt: Ken Parker, Kelly Funk, and Hans Stasiuk
Novice: Shane Moffatt, Bruce McCallum.
Atom House: Trevor Shackleton, Rodney Dickenson, Kary Kirkup, and Brian McEarchern.
Female Atom: Wade Duncan
Female Peewee: Mike Neill, one position remains vacant.
Female Bantam: Kelly Anderson
Coaching positions remaining vacant: 2 Novice, 2 Peewee house, 2 Bantam house, 1 Female Peewee. The Atom, Peewee, & Bantam “A” coaches will be chosen at a later date.
